BIOGRAPHY

Cosimo Zitani is a multi-disciplinary artist, working in film, paint, photography and collage.

A visual stylist, his work explores the reinvention of self and perseverance of the human spirit.

His photo collage pieces reinterpret classical imagery and combine his love of architecture, photography, mosaic and design. 

His mixed media oil and watercolour paintings are similar in tone and celebrate the beauty of form on torn and reconstructed paper.

 

He graduated from Ryerson Radio and Television Arts program in 1987 and has directed numerous television commercials for top brands throughout his career.

 

He was inspired to paint when he moved to Miami Beach in 1999, selling numerous pieces to people from all over the world.

 

He has written, directed and produced 5 independent short art and dance films.
